Quick Stats on Neuro Claris
: Utmost Me seems to be the parent brand for a line of supplements, including the Neuro Claris product. However, upon further research, Utmost Me is actually a trade name, and the trade name is owned by Clever Yellow, Ltd. Finding information on the manufacturer was challenging. Their website does list an address though, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. So, note that this is a company based outside of the United States.
Pricing Plans (Cost): The website follows a pattern of trying to upsell a high number of bottles to a first-time customer. However, the bottles are more affordably priced than most. With a single bottle purchase coming in at $38.62. Not including shipping costs. As more bottles are bought at once, the cost decreases.
: All policies are well-defined and addressed at some level. However, that does not mean that the policies are very forgiving. You will have 30 days to return, and they are strict on that policy. And that is from the date of purchase, as per their policy states, “Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.” Which means that if they are shipping from abroad, it may take time to reach you. Second major point, the bottle has to be unopened and in the same condition as when you received it. So, basically, it doesn’t seem like you can just return the product if it doesn’t work for you. This is unfortunate.
List of Main Ingredients: L-Tyrosine, Turmeric Curcumin, Rhodiola Rosea Extract, L-Theanine (Green Tea Extract), Curcumin C3, Zinc, Soy Lechithin, Blackberry Extract, Biperine, Vitamins (D3, C, B3, B5, B6, B12), and Biotin.
: There are no red-flags.
: Customers can only reach by snail mail to the foreign address beforementioned above, or by filling out a contact form box. There is no easy to find phone number listed at the time of this review.
: Customer and meta reviews across our certified credible sources are average.
Review Summary of Neuro Claris
In the end, Neuro Claris seems to be a big gamble on the side of the consumer. The company makes a lot of claims, but doesn’t back it with a strong iron-clad guarantee (the guarantee only applies towards un-opened bottles). The company itself is also based outside the United States, so for those consumers inside the US, shipping may take time, as might returns. And double check foreign transaction fees before purchasing. And while the product contains good ingredients that have real potential to boost brain power, there does seem to be a lack of ingredients for real boosts in focus in the short term. All of these factors contribute to our rating:
3.5 out of 5 stars.
Full Review of Neuro Claris
To evaluate the product, let’s first properly analyze the nootropic supplement formula. The entire nootropic supplement’s bottle comes with the ingredients displayed on the bottle. We really believe that companies should showcase the formula before you get your hands on the bottle, instead of just listing ingredients. And we were happy to see Neuro Claris did just that. To summarize, here, the dosage is 2 capsules, and inside we find:
• Biotin Zinc
• Vitamin D
• Vitamin B12
• Vitamin C
• Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5)
• Niacin (Vitamin B3)
• Vitamin B6
• Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)
• Bioperine (Black Pepper Extract)
• Lecithin (From Soy)
• Curcumin C3
• Turmeric Extract (CumaClaris)
• Blackberry Extract
• L-Theanine (From Green Tea Extract)
• Rhodiola Rosea Extract
That’s definitely a lot of ingredients! Let’s go ahead and explore the more interesting ingredients in this blend.
Supplement Facts Details
It’s always great to see a supplement label presented openly for the consumer to really see the stack.
Turmeric Extract and Mental Performance
Turmeric extracts are the favorite of health food fanatics, though we rarely see it available on the list of ingredients of a nootropic supplement. Let’s focus on how it helps to boost up your cognitive performance.
Curcumin is the compound we find in Turmeric which is the most interesting. Curcumin has been the main ingredient in traditional medicines for a long time, but over the past couple decades, Curcumin has come under observation by the science committee.
According to a study available on Utmost Me’s website, Curcumin exhibits antioxidant, antiviral, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial characteristics. It works as the best agent against several malignant diseases, allergies, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic illnesses, arthritis, and diabetics.
More specifically, Utmost Me claims that Curcumin’s addition in the ingredients of Neuro Claris will improve mental performance during memory tasks.
There’s a full study available on their website in which they examined both acute and chronic effects of curcumin formulation on brain functions and mood in adults from 60 to 85 years of age.
But here’s the thing, that was just one study. And it was a study on a small number of older individuals, 60 to 85. Anyway, after observing a number of old aged people, researchers come up to a conclusion that curcumin really helps them to keep their mood “light” and improve their working memory.
Yet, it does seem that further research needs to be done, and on younger adults, for curcumin.
Neuro Claris Formula Review
Without discussing all ingredients of the formula, we can’t complete the review of Neuro Claris. Just like any other top brain supplements, Neuro Claris offer a variety of minerals and vitamins. This isn’t strictly necessary for a brain supplement to contain vitamins because most of us now take multi-vitamins every day.
Though, if the vitamins and minerals aren’t displacing other key ingredients, it’s no problem to keep them in the vitamin and mineral ingredients as a top-up. Neuro Claris’ stack contains vitamins and minerals known to improve brain functions. Vitamin B12, Niacin, and Zinc helps you to stay motivated, focused and energized. Zinc, Pantothenic acid, and Niacin help maintaining cognitive function.
Rhodiola Rosea – Reduce Fatigue
Rhodiola Rosea is an anxiolytic which helps to reduce the perception of fatigue and mental stress especially when your cognitive workload is high. There is some clinical evidence that suggests that Rhodiola Rosea maintains general health and brain health, which is great.
However, there is also a recent study that found that some commercial Rhodiola rosea supplements in the UK may be adulterated through dilution or additives. It would be good to see a 3rd party lab work of the supplement displayed on the site, given that Neuro Claris is manufactured in the UK. Also note that Rhodiola rosea is slightly stimulatory. However, all in all, it is a good ingredient in my opinion.
Tyrosine – The Happiness Ingredient
Tyrosine is an amino acid, and directly plays with noradrenaline and dopamine neurotransmitters. Of course, you can probably tell right away why this would be beneficial to include in a nootropic stack. However, the thing is, most people get a good dosage of this amino acid just through their usual diet. And its nootropic properties really don’t make a huge effect, maybe unless you were very deficient. But that is unlikely. Anyway, as with a lot of the ingredients in Neuro Claris (the vitamins and minerals), this is more a general well-being ingredient than anything else.
How to buy Neuro Claris
We would recommend buying the bottle through Amazon if you are able. Then from the manufacturer otherwise. In case you don’t like the supplement, you may have better luck getting a refund through Amazon, since it does not seem like the company is very willing to give out refunds on opened items.
Neuro Claris promises to help you think more clearly and focus longer than usual.
Their website is also well organized and professional. We really like that they display their full formula for the consumer to see and make up their mind.
“Utmost Me” (trade name for the company behind Neuro Claris) also has other products in a similar line that are available in the market. It gives an impression that company is trying to build some good reputation in the marketplace, and provide a wholesome approach.
The question arises whether Neuro Claris really works or not? Does it boost up cognitive functions as it promises? Does Neuro Claris cause side effects? Can it help improve mental function while assisting brain health?
The issue, besides the harsh return policy for people in the USA, is that caffeine-free Neuro Claris lacks some ingredients that we believe would be great addons to their blend, like CDP-Choline, Alpha-GPC, and some sort of stimulant. These or any one of those could provide an extra boost to cognitive functions.
All in all, this is not a bad brain supplement to give a shot. However, I believe that it will take a month or two of taking the supplement to notice any real perceptible differences. There are stronger supplements out there. Check out our other reviews!
